The Teddies Worldwide on-line March show has finally began!
I'm very pleased to present my five minis. I have called this collection BearToWear because of their special feature. Every bear can be worn and carried around thanks to a personalized necklace. Each little bear bears the name of a flower, and is accessorized consequently. I have designed a double face mat/birth certificate. One side of it has a felt flower, on the other side is my 'trademark' birth certificate with name of the bear, date of birth, my signature and a scrap of fur as DNA proof!

POPPY

POPPY is a OOAK BearToWear.

MEASURES: 12,5 cm

MATERIALS: silver grey mohair. Black ultra suede for feet pads and inner ears. Felt and wool thread for ruff and flower necklace.

JOINTS: 5 ways cotter pin jointed. Head has a wobble joint.

STUFFING: sheep wool and white granulate for a bit of added weight.

FEATURES: face is needle felted.

EYES: black German glass

NOSE: hand sculpted with polymer clay.

SHADING: oils and acrylics.

CORNFLOWER

CORNFLOWER is a OOAK BearToWear.

MEASURES: 12,5 cm

MATERIALS: black alpaca fur. Black ultra suede for paws and inner ears. Felt and wool thread for ruff and flower necklace.

JOINTS: 5 ways cotter pin jointed. Head has a wobble joint.

STUFFING: sheep wool and white granulate for a bit of added weight.

FEATURES: face is needle felted.

EYES: clear glass hand painted in shades of blue.

NOSE: hand sculpted with polymer clay.

SHADING: oils and acrylics.

DANDELION

DANDELION is a OOAK BearToWear.

POPPY BearToWear

Poppy is the first of the BearToWear collection I devised for this March Teddies Worldwide on-line show. He will be welcoming the visitors on my KALEideaSCOPE page there, as he is also the preview bear. I hope he will bring me luck!
